Title: Springtime Tulips
Weight: 6.0 lbs.
Painted in the studio from life, I wanted to keep the tulips light and airy like one feels in spring.
Canvas edges have been painted, so it is ready to hang with or without framing.

As a child I did charcoal drawings of animals but I really didn't start painting and pursuing the arts until adulthood. I fell in love with plein air painting in my mid thirties and have been pursuing it ever since. I have studied extensively with various painters over the years painting a variety of subject matter, not just plein air. I also enjoy pushing the landscape into a more abstracted image not relying totally on the subject matter.
I want to be able to create an emotional connection between my paintings and the viewer so the viewer can relate to it and then interpret the painting, thus responding to it on their own personal level.
