To communicate my perception of human emotions, interactions, and responses to their surrounding social environment. Each composition focuses on surreal imagery it allows me to tell a story using symbolism. The majority of symbols I use are rooted in Mayan and Aztec culture; therefore it is necessary for my art to have a strong tactile presence. Wood carving and gilding are my primary techniques, they lend my work the mystic of the ancient.
