Her work has developed over the years that endeavors to express the lyrical power of nature.
My painting is a response to nature that is an exploration of seeing inward to express its spiritual essence. Nature is the source and inspiration of my work both in my abstract paintings and in my tree series. The tree series began in 1983 after moving to Virginia. It has been written that trees are spiritual guardians acting as intermediaries between heaven and earth. I also believe that trees possess a deep spiritual quality. Their beauty and spiritual quality inspires me to paint.
