Artist Statement

I'm hoping to get commissioned to paint or sculpt portraits. I prefer to work by painting the model from live sittings. I can work from photos but it's better if I take them. Sending me a photo is advisable if there's no choice (a long departed relative etc.).


Art Education

Studied in Europe with various masters.


Awards

Shown at 4 major museums : The San Diego Museum, The Frye Museum in Seattle, The South Texas Museum and the Laguna Museum of Art. I've written an international best selling book on drawing, called "How to Draw Lifelike Heads". Instructed at all the major art colleges in Southern California. Shown in numerous galleries, such as The John Pence gallery, Lizardi/Harp gallery etc. etc.
